Terms of Service

1. The Service

EpoxyLocator is a directory that connects homeowners and property managers with epoxy and concrete coating contractors. The Service includes a free public listing directory, a contractor claiming and dashboard system, and an optional paid Featured listing tier.

2. Contractor Accounts

• You may claim a listing only for a business you own or are authorized to represent. One claim per listing.
• You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all information on your listing, including contact details, service area, coating types, and photos.
• You agree not to submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• We reserve the right to remove or unclaim listings that violate these Terms or that we determine are fraudulent.
• Your account credentials are your responsibility. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

3. Homeowner Use

Lead form submissions are non-binding inquiries. Submitting a quote request does not create a contract with any contractor, nor does it obligate you to hire anyone. EpoxyLocator is a referral platform only — we are not a party to any agreement between homeowners and contractors.

4. Payment Terms

• The Featured listing plan is billed monthly at $97/mo via Stripe. Billing begins on the date of your first payment.
• Subscriptions automatically renew each month until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• 30-day money-back guarantee. If you do not receive at least 3 qualified leads in your first 30 days on the Featured plan, contact us for a full refund of your first month's payment. Refunds are not available after the 30-day window or for subsequent billing periods.
• All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store payment card information.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download data from the Service without written permission.
• Submit spam, fake reviews, or fraudulent lead inquiries.
• Claim a listing for a business you do not own or represent.
• Impersonate another contractor or business.
• Use the Service to distribute malware or engage in phishing.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service.
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service — including the EpoxyLocator name, logo, and site design — is owned by or licensed to us. Contractor-submitted content (photos, descriptions) remains yours; by submitting it you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it on the Service. You represent that you have the rights to any content you submit.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Specifically:

• We do not verify contractor licenses, insurance, or qualifications. Always verify a contractor's credentials independently before hiring.
• We do not guarantee the quality of any contractor's work, nor are we responsible for disputes between homeowners and contractors.
• We do not guarantee a specific number of leads or level of directory traffic.
• Listing placement in search results is determined by our algorithms and may change.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EpoxyLocator and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the total fees you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EpoxyLocator and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your listing content, or your violation of these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active contractors of material changes by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
